Nowadays, demand for energy is growing. Conventional fossil resources (oil, coal and natural gas) face supply constraints and volatile markets, and concerns about economics and climate change have become widespread. And an abundant and promising source of energy exists in waves, tides and offshore currents and swells. The time to harness it is now! In order to discuss more about the ocean new energy, ICCOE 2018 will open a special workshop on Ocean Renewable Energy Application. Experts and scholars who is interested in Ocean Renewable Energy, welcome to join in this workshop!
如今，人类对于能源需求正在不断的增长，但传统的化石资源(石油、煤炭和天然气) 面临供应紧张和市场动荡的局面，对经济和气候变化的担忧也普遍存在。其实海洋种藏着大量丰富的能量来源等待我们去开发。为了更多地讨论海洋新能源，ICCOE 2018 将在海洋可再生能源应用领域开设一个专题研讨会，欢迎致力于研究海洋新能源的专家学者们，加入到专题讨论中来。

For papers submitted to ICCOE 2018, after the peer reviewing process by at least 2-3 experts, all the accepted papers will be published into IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (EES) (ISSN: 1755-1315), which is indexed by EI Compendex, Scopus, Thomson Reuters (WoS), Inspec,et al.
