The 23rd Annual Workshop on Economic Science with Heterogeneous Interacting Agents will be held at International Christian University in Tokyo from June 30 (Sat) to July 2 (Mon), 2018. WEHIA is the annual conference of the Society for Economic Studies with Heterogeneous Interacting Agents. WEHIA 2018 represents a unique opportunity to present and discuss the latest research on various aspects of the economy as a complex system consisting of heterogeneous interacting agents. Research contributions from various fields - economics, psychology, sociology, computer sciences, or physics - can prove useful for better understanding of key issues such as extreme events in financial markets, production growth, unemployment and poverty, inequality in income and wealth distribution, and many others.
